It Took A Little Time...

This is the the best news I've had in 2007. What a pity they had to inflict their shite on us for 19 whole years.

Let's hope Westlife are next... to meet Mark Chapman.

Two things:
Firstly, after hearing some wanker drone on and on about fungi for four hours, that has made my day. Thank you.

Secondly:
I'm sorry for the post below. The computer here at UCD got fucked up and I got a bit carried away with the 'enter' button.

No probs Dario.

Which musician or group would you most like to see in a wooden suit?

The following in no particular order:
Britney Spears, Westlife, Boyzone if they reunite, and Johnny Logan.

Especially Johnny Logan. Power ballads went out with the 80's.

For me it would have to be the Karaoke King himself, Ronan Keating. Every one of his songs are covers. He released a 'Best of' album with a spelling mistake on it, entitled '10 Years of Hits'.

If I was Taoiseach, I would have a Department of Cultural Cleansing and Mr. Keating would be the first to be executed live on RTÉ straight after the lottery results.

Hmm, that's not a bad idea. Perhaps I should run for election on a manifesto of clearing out shit Irish acts, like the aforementioned Mister Keating, Ed Byrne, and definitely Pat Shortt.

Can you name another country where a song about a sausage and bacon roll would become and saty number one in the music charts?

Only in Ireland, mate. Only in Ireland.

I have wanted a Bureau of Good Taste in Arts for years now. I like the idea of a Department of Cultural Cleansing. It's a little more to the point. Hmmm, Britney Spears and Madonna doing hard labor at a prison camp in Alabama is appealing.
